TVXQ releases Japanese MV teaser for “Superstar”

After sharing a short preview through Japanese TV programs earlier this week, idol duo TVXQ unveiled an official teaser for their “Superstar” MV!

Dressed in crisp white suits, the boys delivered slick dance moves in what appears to be a subway station. They also gave fans some serious eye-candy with their black outfit shots.

2PM grabs #1 on last week’s ‘M! Countdown’!

Since Mnet aired their ‘2011 Mnet 20’s Choice Awards‘ last week instead of their usual program, ‘M! Countdown‘, the winner of the weekly chart award for July 7th went unannounced. Still, results were still tabulated as normal, and the winner was revealed through their website recently.

As it turns out, 2PM won the July 7th chart with their latest single, “Hands Up“; the boys edged past the girls from f(x), T-ara, SECRET and Rainbow, who rounded up the top 5 for the week.

miss A’s Suzy shows off her new teddy bear

miss A’s youngest member Suzy showed off a particularly cute gift that she recently received.

She tweeted, “A doll I was given as a present. I’m planning to sleep with my arms around it everyday”. She attached a photo of herself puffing her cheeks and holding a huge stuffed bear.

Predictably, there was at least one fan who wished he was the stuffed animal, as he replied: “I’m jealous of the doll.” Other fans responded, “Indeed, so pretty,” and “You’re cute just like the bear.”

Go behind-the-scenes with SNSD + TVXQ in their Japanese ‘7-11’ CFs!

Idol groups SNSD and TVXQ will be starring in new commercials for Japan’s ‘7-11‘!

The SNSD ladies appeared on morning TV show “Sukkiri!!“, where they talked about their upcoming CF.

“Sukkiri!! viewers, and everyone in the studio – good morning! We’re Shoujo Jidai,” said the girls during their short video interview. Member Sunny then goes on to say, “After tomorrow we’ll be appearing in a television commercihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifal for http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif7-Eleven Fair, so please watch it!”

The CF features the girls in lovely white outfits, along with the Japanese version of their song “Hoot“. TVXQ also appears in their own commercial, looking cool as their upcoming song “Superstar” plays in the background.

Both commercials are part of a special campaign by 7-Eleven, where customers can earn points or big prizes, such as a Nintendo 3DS, TVs, and more.

Kim Hyun Joong to release a special remix album for “20’s Choice”

SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing a special remix album for Mnet’s “20’s Choice“!

Last year, he attended the awards ceremony as a presenter and made the promise to come back and stand on stage as a singer next year. Kim Hyun Joong is working towards keeping that promise, as he prepares a powerful performance for this year’s show.

He’ll be performing a remix version of his comeback track, “Break Down“, which has been lengthened to last five minutes. Producers revealed, “Kim Hyun Joong is currently working on a special stage and choreography to satisfy the anticipation of his domestic and international fans. The remix features a stronger beat and a captivating performance that can’t be seen anywhere else.”

The remix album will be released immediately for online purchase after the ceremony ends at 9 PM KST on July 7th through Mnet and other online music distribution websites.

TVXQ’s “I Don’t Know” MV revealed!

Earlier in the week, TVXQ unveiled a MV preview from their new single, “I Don’t Know” now the full MV has been revealed!

This track will be included in their upcoming single “Superstar” which is slated for release on July 20th.

miss A confirms comeback for end of July

miss A will be returning to the music scene by the end of July!

The ladies shot to stardom with their back-to-back hits “Bad Girl Good Girl” and “Breathe“. Currently, the group is busy completing the final stages of album production.

On July 6th, JYP Entertainment revealed,

“miss A will be starting their first album promotions in the 4th week of this month. They plan to have many Korean activities.“

According to their agency, miss A’s upcoming album was directed by JYP Entertainment’s head producer, J.Y. Park. miss A is determined to exceed the popularity of their previous hit songs with their new title track, the details for which have yet to be revealed.

A JYP Entertainment representative said,

“It will be a miss A signature dance song with lots of excitement. It shows off the charms of the matured members. Since it’s their first full length album, the members have prepared for a long time prior to making their comeback.“

We’re stoked to hear that miss A will finally be making their comeback!

[Heartstring Spoilers] Yonghwa and Park Shin Hye…

On July 6th, still cuts from MBC’s ‘Heartstrings’s campus bicycle date between Lee Shin (played by Jung Yonghwa) and Lee Kyu Won (played by Park Shin Hye) were revealed.

In the photos, Park Shin Hye is seen sweetly closing her eyes as she is leaning against Jung Yonghwa’s back.

Jung Yonghwa’s character usually never lets anyone ride on his back seat besides his younger sibling. So viewers are anticipating to find the reason on what led to Yonghwa and Park Shin Hye’s campus bicycle date.

A representative on the set of ‘Heartstrings’ said,

“Though this scene was filmed on a weekday, many people gathered to see Jung Yonghwa and Park Shin Hye. The hot response led to a hold on set. It was a time in which we were able to realize the hot interest in the drama’s ‘Dooli couple’.”
